The government of Punjab has initiated a new program named Punjab Rozgar Scheme that provides loans from 100,000 to 10,000,000 PKR to the youth for their businesses. Through this program, the government provides interest-free loans to unemployed youth and people whose business is affected by pandemic or disasters.

The online application process has been started to provide loans. In order to manage the online registration of the program, the government has developed the Rozgar scheme web portal with the help of the Punjab Information Technology Board. To provide loans, CM allocated 30 billion PKR to help youth financially.

CM Punjab launched the Punjab Employment Scheme in October 2020 to provide loans to new startups as well as existing businesses. - Clean e-CIB/Credit History: A clean e-CIB and credit history is a must.
- For Startups/New Businesses: They must submit a viable business plan.
- For Existing Businesses: They should have a viable business plan with emphasis on their sustainability by the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
