The Pakistan government has started a noble initiative called Ehsaas Masawat Program to solve this inequality among society members. Through this program, equality is being promoted throughout the country.

What is Ehsaas Masawat Program:

Punjab Social Protection Authority (PSPA) has always tried to assist marginalized communities in their protection and social, cultural, and economic development. Transgender individuals are often exposed to isolation and social exclusion. This PSPA has launched the Masawat Program under the policy for the welfare of Transgender Persons.

This ehsaas program for transgender people creates job and education opportunities for these specific people. This is a positive step toward promoting equality, as indicated by the program’s name. This unconditional cash transfer scheme provides monthly financial assistance to eligible individuals.

Ehsaas Masawat Program Registration:

The registration process is as easy as pie, and there is no tacklesome task for this. If you want to register for the program, follow the below guideline to ensure smooth registration.
First, you should visit NADRA to make your ID card. If you have a transgender ID card, skip this step.

  • After that, visit your nearest ehsaas or BISP center.
  • Ask the receptionist about the Masawat Program application form.
  • Please fill in all the required information.
  • Finally, hand over your application to the receptionist.
  • Congrats! You have registered for the program successfully.

Ehsaas Transgender Program Cash:

Eligible individuals who have successfully registered for the program can get financial assistance through the Ehsaas Equality program. Transgender individuals with age above 40 years can get a monthly allowance of 3000 PKR. Transgender individuals with age less than 40 years or disabled ones can get PKR 2000 per month. This cash is disbursed via any HBL Konnect Agents.

Interest Free Loan For Transgender People:

It is important to create opportunities for transgender people so they can make income-generating assets for them. So, PSPA also ensures that Khawajasara can get interest-free loans up to 100,000 PKR. Moreover, transgender people can also apply for the bisp kafalat program, by which they can get Rs 14000.

Objectives of Masawat Program:

The welfare of the Khawajasara community is the main aim of Benazir Masawat program. The program is working to accomplish the following goals:

  • To provide opportunities for education, health, livelihood, and housing services.
  • To push for a more equitable society.
  • To provide social safety and protection to transgender individuals.
  • To provide health facilities to transgender people.
  • To provide job and entrepreneurship opportunities for transgender people.

Ehsaas Masawat Program Eligibility Criteria:

The criteria set by the government ensure that only those who are eligible and need the most help can get benefits. The following are the criteria for Masawaat Program.

  • Khawajasara with age above 40 years.
  • Disabled Khawajasara with age above 18 years.
  • Khawajasara must be a resident of Punjab.
  • A valid ID card is a must for the program.


PSPA provides interest-free loans of up to 1 lac rupees in collaboration with Punjab Small Industries Corporation (PSIC).

You need only your CNIC card to apply for the program, but other personal information is also required in the application form.

PSPA and the Bank of Punjab are collaborating to provide services for the Masawaat Program.
